ERETZ CHEMDA
The Eretz Chemda Program of the “Beit Midrash Emunas Ish, Rabbi Efrati’s Yeshiva, was a pioneer in distance learning. Before anyone else was on Zoom Eretz Chemda was. The program is the only place students learn all about Eretz Yisrael and its special Mitzvos.
Dozens of schools across the United States, Canada and around the world have joined, getting rave reviews from principals, teachers, students and parents. The program is geared toward 5th and 6th graders and is fully adaptable to different academic levels and educational goals.
The Eretz Chemda program is generously sponsored by the Walder Foundation.

Every lesson has a dynamic and passionate Eretz Chemda instructor who shares a cutting edge video with the students. The students are also given a workbook with extra information to enrich their learning.
Eretz Chemda takes place every other week starting after Sukkos and running until May/June.
It is a great stand alone experience, but can be tied into Parsha, Chumash, Navi, Halacha, or general love for Eretz Yisrael.
Each lesson is around 25 minutes long.
That is a decision for each principal to make with their teachers. The workbook can be used at home or used for a quick check for understanding at the conclusion of each lesson.
The ideal Eretz Chemda experience is with fifth and sixth graders.
Eretz Yisrael is central to the existence of the Jewish people. Everywhere you look you will see its centrality in our learning. Eretz Chemda is a gift by bringing Eretz Yisrael to the students of Chutz La’aretz.
That’s what we are here for. Our Rebbeim, our trained and know the mitzvos really well. When they are stumped they ask the Rebbeim in our kollel and get sharp answers to share with our students. Many students when arriving in Eretz Yisrael feel more at home with concepts like shemita, teruma, etc.
We have schools from all over the world, from varied backgrounds, all seeking to learn about the holiness of Eretz Yisrael.
